Brain Malformation Affinity Group (BMAG)

Seminars on Brain Malformations

BMAG, sponsored by the Department of Neurology and the Carter Centers for Brain Research in Holoprosencephaly and Related Brain Disorders, organizes a monthly symposium for researchers interested in developmental brain malformations at Stanford University. We are also affiliated with the Neuroscience Institute at Stanford (NIS). The BMAG forum includes clinical and basic sciences researchers who interact and discuss their work. We try and alternate between presenting clinical problems and also have basic sciences researchers discuss neurodevelopmental aspects in animal models.

Attendance is open to members of the Stanford Neurosciences community and the talks should last approximately 45 minutes with another 30 minutes for questions and further discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
